Thank you

For all your kind comments about me yarn. Not sure what I'm going to make yet but I have a few ideas which I'm keeping to myself for the time being. No time for more blogging today, busy tidying the house; I'm getting a cleaner and to be honest I'm embarrassed to let her past the front door it's such a tip. This despite the fact that she knows me and is familiar with the state the place is in. I'm hoping that having someone coming in every week to clean will give me the incentive to keep it tidyer than I do. Dunno if it will work or not!!

I know that it's a bit disgraceful paying someone to clean when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself but the fact is that I'll do amost anything to avoid cleaning and if I don't feel bad about paying someone to do DIY type stuff round the house I don't see why I Should feel bad about paying someone to clean. I'd rather spend my free time doing more fun things and get paid to do things I'd prefer not to.

It's not in the slightest disgraceful. If my house wasn't such a tip (I completely understand where you're coming from with that one) and if we could afford it, I would get a cleaner like a shot. Good luck with keeping it tidy.

I'm jealous now. Not only can you spin like an expert already, you've just awarded youself more time to do it! *Sulks*
Just for that you're tagged - 6 weird things, please.
See my blog for details.

Annie
you are presupposing that I am freeing up time by paying someone to clean. Alas this is not the case as
a) I didn't really spend much time cleaning I just lived in a pigsty and
b)I am spending an ENORMOUS amount of time trying to make it look as if I don't live in a pigsty before she comes in!!! I don't know why I'm bothering, she knows me already!
I'll get onto the meme at the weekend when I have time to post!
ta!

Don't feel guilty! I've been there myself. My friend cleans for 2 hours per week and I'm sure it has saved my relationship! When your busy working full time the last thing you want to do is spend time cleaning. I've come to terms with the fact that not only is it making me and DH by having a cleaner but we're also helping someone else earn a bit of money - so that makes three people happy as opposed to one grumpy (me). What a bargain!

Oh ,wish I could afford a cleaner but I guess I would be just like you and have to clean up before she came !!Enjoy you free time :)
