Now I feel bad!

I've just been reading a discussion on Ravelry and one of the things that came up was how much the poster hates it when a blogger just drops off the scene. In particular she says ones that are part of a web ring so you're happily trolling along and you come across a blog that was last updated in June 2006. Well it's not quite that long since I updated but it's going that way and I appologise to anyone who feels that way about my blog.

I was seriously considering folding it up and taking it away as I seemed to have lost the will to update and I'm not sure why. I have a feeling that people are now spending time on Ravelry that they once spent reading and writing their blogs. I'm sure that I am. This is a bit sad because Ravelry is still an invitation only site so a lot of people are probably getting left out.

I've been feeling the same way too. Maybe its just that the excitement of blogging drops off after a while? I still read a few blogs who are very inspiring but I don't have the time to trail though lots of entries anymore. Maybe it's something that only suits certain people?

Well, I'm still both blogging and reading blogs - don't give up!

Yes I have to admit that I have been spending a lot of time on Ravelry....although because I am not working at the moment I have plenty of time for blogs too! If I had more demands on my time I am sure my blog would soon suffer. But I hope you keep going!

I know how you feel. I seem to have lost some inspiration for both knitting and blogging. I think I just need some time to recharge abnd I'll be back. I hope you'll continue with the blog. See you around.

I'm not on Ravelry, not interested in it, and like reading your blog. You do some interesting stuff - not only knitting - and you write well.

Aha! You ARE on Ravelry - and yes, I've been spending far too much time over there and not enough reading/updating blogs.
